MARCH TIP OF THE MONTH - ANODES

As you prepare to antifoul the bottom of your boat for the new season, take care not to paint over hull anodes, as the painted area will be ineffective, and the unpainted area will preferentially decay.

Also make sure that propeller shaft anodes are secured so that they are kept clear of P-brackets and cutless bearings, otherwise the bearings can overheat.
